College Strike a Symptom of a Larger Issue
According to Liberal MPP John Fraser, the ongoing college strike in Ontario is a sign of a bigger problem.
Fraser, the Liberal Party critic for labour and education, met with union leaders in Thunder Bay on Tuesday to discuss the issue.
"This thing that we built, the college system, is being allowed to wither,"
Fraser said, adding that
"The strike is just symptomatic of that."
- The strike, involving members of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, has been ongoing for almost a month.
