Hundreds Flock to Trowbridge for Annual Apple Festival
Hundreds of people attended the town's annual Apple Festival in Trowbridge.
The event celebrated a successful year for apple growers, with 2025 being the best year for quality and flavour in many years.
“The Apple festival is an annual event in the town, and I am really pleased it's been so well supported.”
Organiser Mel Jacobs was thrilled with the turnout and the vast selection of apples on display, including over 90 different varieties.
- The table displaying the apples featured local types, including the Mary Barnett apple.
- The Mary Barnett apple came from a tree planted in 1935 by a bride on her wedding day in Steeple Ashton.
