Accident Claims Life of Judge in Cebu
A tragic accident involving two motorcycles in Barangay Cabiangon, Pinamungajan, Cebu, resulted in the death of Judge Carmela Rosario Pasquin, 41, last Wednesday.
Pasquin, a presiding judge in the Municipal Circuit Trial Court Branch 14 of Pinamungajan-Aloguinsan, was a passenger on a Honda ADV driven by her court processor, Eric Gelizon Lanzarate, when it was hit by a Suzuki Smash driven by a 19-year-old without a license.
The collision caused both motorcycles to crash, resulting in Pasquin's death and various injuries to the others involved.
The driver of the Smash had no license to drive and suddenly swerved left, hitting the Honda ADV, according to the police report.
