Tragic Accident Claims Life of Judge
A recent accident in Barangay Cabiangon, Pinamungajan, Cebu, has resulted in the death of Judge Carmela Rosario Pasquin, 41, who served as the presiding judge in the Municipal Circuit Trial Court Branch 14 of Pinamungajan-Aloguinsan.
According to reports, Pasquin was a passenger on a Honda ADV driven by her court processor, Eric Gelizon Lanzarate, when it was hit by a Suzuki Smash driven by a 19-year-old without a license. The collision caused both motorcycles to crash, resulting in Pasquin's death and various injuries to the others involved.
The police report indicates that the driver of the Smash suddenly swerved left and hit the Honda ADV, suggesting that he may have been at fault for the accident.
The driver of the Smash had no license to drive.
Pending further evidence, it appears that the Smash driver's actions may have caused the accident.
