India defeated Pakistan by two runs via the DLS method after rain interrupted play during their Pool C clash at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Hong Kong on Friday.
Batting first, India posted 86/4 in six overs, powered by Robin Uthappa’s 28 and Bharat Chipli’s 24. Pakistan, chasing 87, reached 41/1 in three overs before rain stopped the match.

With the loss, Pakistan finished their group stage with one win and one defeat. India will face Kuwait on Saturday in their next match.
Abdul Samad showcased his hitting ability with a massive six and two boundaries off Shahbaz Nadeem in the third over. Heavy rain eventually forced the play to halt.
Earlier in the day, the first two matches were abandoned due to persistent rain.
