Seven neighbours from Brookmans Park’s AL9 6PT postcode are celebrating after winning a combined £1 million in the People's Postcode Lottery’s weekly draw.

- Two households won £249,999 each with three tickets
- One household won £166,666 with two tickets
- Four households received £83,333 each with one ticket
Charity Pledge from Winner Steven Bean
Steven Bean, 52, one of the three-ticket winners, has pledged to donate a portion of his £250,000 prize to a charity supporting adults with learning difficulties.
“The first thing I’m going to do is give some money to a charity who had a bus stolen and burned.”
The charity, Camphill Milton Keynes, experienced the theft and arson of their only minibus on October 9.
“The bus is insured, but it won’t cover the cost of getting a new one. Hopefully other people will give them a few quid too.”

Lucy Davies, the charity’s head of development, expressed the difficulty the incident caused their residents, describing it as upsetting and confusing.
“It has been a very difficult time for our residents who have found this situation very confusing and upsetting.”
Steven Bean and his wife Olesya’s generous pledge highlights the community spirit following their big win.
