Richard Thompson's Musical Journey
Thompson's legendary rock and roll roots trace back to the 1960s, when he co-founded Fairport Convention. Although his association with World Cafe began much later, it remains significant. The show had aired less than a year when Thompson made his debut appearance in 1992.
As World Cafe has grown, so has Thompson. He has transformed from a bandleader into a solo artist, continually pushing the boundaries of his guitar playing.
