Samsung and Nvidia Partnership
Samsung Electronics has unveiled plans to expand its long-term partnership with Nvidia to build an AI factory.
The facility will utilize over 50,000 Nvidia GPUs across its entire production system to accelerate the development and production of next-generation chips and mobile devices.
The facility would integrate “every aspect of semiconductor manufacturing, from design and process to equipment, operations and quality control, into a single intelligent network”.
This move is part of Samsung's company-wide digital transformation using AI-enabled manufacturing, combining the companies' respective chip expertise to set "the foundation of next-generation, AI-driven production".
