Hub City Humane Society Hosts "Tricks for Treats" Halloween Event
Costumed pets and their owners gathered at the Fields of Barktopia Dog Park for the Hub City Humane Society's first-ever "Tricks for Treats" Halloween celebration.
The event allowed families to enjoy festive fun while raising funds for animals in need. All proceeds will go towards veterinary care for shelter animals and the completion of the society's new building.
"We want our community to be able to come in and feel like they're doing their part in helping us, and they've done that and more,"said Ashleigh Blackmon, Hub City Humane Society Board President.
The community's support has made a significant impact, and the event's success is a testament to Hattiesburg's responsiveness.
