£700m East West Rail Tender
The East West Rail tender is set to begin, with a virtual bidders day for preparatory and support works for the Oxford–Cambridge route.
Ahead of the formal invitation to tender in April 2026, a virtual supplier briefing will be held on 6 November, where EWR Co will provide information on its approach for the framework.
- The eight-year Programme Support Works Framework will bring together multiple suppliers across five lots.
- Lots include archaeology, ground investigation, and principal contractor/minor civils.
EWR Co will provide information on its emerging thinking on packaging and the contracting approach for the framework at the virtual briefing event.
Consultant Arcadis is acting as procurement and commercial partner for the £700m framework, which is due to go live in January 2027.
