Coretax Repair Set to Finish in January 2026
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa announced that the government aims to complete the Coretax repair by January 2026.
The repair was initially planned to be concluded within a month, but the complexity of the system over the past four years has caused delays.
This project was built over four years with various obstacles. But I am confident that once full access is handed over to us, everything can be completed by January. The security system and infrastructure will also be sufficient.
The delay in the repair is attributed to the contract with LG CNS-Qualysoft Consortium, the main vendor of Coretax development.
Minister Purbaya explained that the disruption in the Coretax system occurred in four main layers.
- The repair could not be concluded in a month as initially planned.
- The complexity of the system built over the past four years has caused delays.
- The contract with LG CNS-Qualysoft Consortium has contributed to the delay.
