Maskell Medal Winner Switches Leagues Ahead of 2026 Season

Camperdown midfielder Hamish Sinnott, the prestigious Maskell Medal winner, has signed with South Barwon in the Geelong league for the 2026 season.

Sinnott, 21, has previously spent time at three VFL clubs: Carlton, Geelong, and Essendon. However, he has decided to step away from state league commitments for the time being.

"I am going to give it a break next year. I am pretty keen to have a full year at local (level) because I haven't done that since before (Coates Talent League with GWV) Rebels,"

Sinnott said, expressing his desire to focus on a single club and learn a new program full-time.
