Google Wallet Introduces Pass Nicknames
Following the Material 3 Expressive redesign, Google Wallet has rolled out pass nicknames and other features for developers.
The Google Wallet release notes for October 14, 2025, include the ability for users to add nicknames to passes, making them easier to organize in the app and website.
- Users can add nicknames to passes by selecting a pass and tapping the three-dot overflow button.
