Derby residents are invited to join the Remembrance Sunday events on Sunday, 9 November 2025, to honor the sacrifices made by armed forces and emergency services members.
The city's annual parade and service will take place as usual, uniting youth groups, veteran organizations, and community members. At 10:45 AM, local veterans and youth groups will march through the city center to the Market Place, accompanied by the Salvation Army Band.
The Remembrance service begins at 10:55 AM, led by the Lord Bishop of Derby and assisted by Very Rev'd Dr Peter Robinson, Dean of Derby. Attendees will observe a two-minute silence during the service.
"Following this, wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial by Civic dignitaries and representatives from local organisations."
