Renell Robert, fondly known for the phrase
“So beautiful”, was born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana to Dorothy and Lester. Deeply devoted to his home state, he cherished fishing, hunting, Tulane football, and large Robert family gatherings.
After graduating from Gonzales High School, Renell proudly served in the United States Coast Guard and was a decorated Vietnam veteran. He later earned a degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and spent over 30 years working alongside his brothers at Ciba Geigy and Syngenta.
Renell was known as “Fix-It” for his knack for restoring broken things, turning them into something beautiful once again. He loved tending his yard, planting flowers, and sharing every new day with his wife of 13 years, Lillie.
Family and Legacy
The greatest joys of his life were his daughters, Robyn and Rebecca, who filled him with infinite pride and happiness. As an older brother to Phyllis, Dale, Faryl, Rickey, Kirk, and Keeley, Renell grew up surrounded by laughter and love in the lively Robert household.
