It’s not too late to get your flu vaccination
Somerset Council is encouraging eligible residents to get their flu vaccination if they have not yet done so. The Council reminds everyone that the best time for a flu jab is in autumn or early winter, before the virus becomes widespread. This year, flu is already circulating in the community.
Flu is more serious than a simple cold — it can raise the risk of lung infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia, and can worsen existing health conditions.
