Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday, November 15, by enjoying free movies and gaming at local Cineplex theatres, Rec Rooms, and Playdiums.
Free Movie Screenings at Cineplex Theatres
Visit your local Cineplex to watch family-friendly films from Universal Pictures for free, including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
During the morning, select concessions such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each, plus tax.
Free Gaming at XSCAPE Locations
XSCAPE locations will offer 30 minutes of complimentary non-redemption gaming to visitors throughout the morning.
Rec Room and Playdium Activities
The Rec Room and Playdium open at 9:00 a.m. with one-hour free non-redemption game bands. Until noon, food specials include:
- The Rec Room: fries and mini donuts for $3 each
- Playdium: fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy at $3 each
Supporting BGC Canada
One dollar from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada). Similarly, $1 from every concession order of select items sold during the event will support this national nonprofit.
