No Easter Festival of Plays in 2026 but One Act Plays Will Be Held

The Manx Amateur Drama Federation (MADF) celebrated its 75th anniversary this year and has announced it will not hold its Easter Festival of Plays in 2026. Instead, MADF will host a Festival of One Act Plays in March at the Erin Arts Centre.

The federation chose to take a break after 75 years of the festival but plans to return with the full event in 2027. Meanwhile, the popular one act plays event will take place from March 12 to 14 at the Erin Arts Centre.

Festival of One Act Plays Details

MADF has invited drama societies from both the UK and the Isle of Man to submit short plays. These performances will be adjudicated by Sue Doherty from the Guild of Drama Adjudicators.
