Element Solutions to Acquire EFC Gases & Advanced Materials
Specialty chemical technology firm Element Solutions has signed a deal to acquire Massachusetts-based high-purity rare gas technologies company EFC Gases & Advanced Materials (EFC).
EFC supplies high-purity specialty gases and advanced materials to the semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, and electrical infrastructure industries.
- In May, EFC secured a contract to support NASA's xenon gas reprocessing needs, worth up to $5m over five years.
- Since 2023, EFC has grown its semiconductor product qualifications by over 40%.
Pavel Perlov, President and CEO of EFC, said the partnership marks a significant step forward and will accelerate innovation.
Element Solutions expects EFC to add about $30m to adjusted EBITDA in 2026.
