The Harrisburg mayoral race has come to a close with sitting mayor Wanda Williams taking the victory over treasurer Dan Miller.
Mayor Williams officially won the seat after Miller conceded the race within two hours of polls closing. She campaigned against city treasurer Dan Miller to be the next mayor of the Capitol city.
Mayor Williams became the front runner on the Democratic ticket after winning out over multiple other Democratic candidates in the May primaries. Treasurer Dan Miller, who had described himself as a Democrat, received enough write-in votes as a Republican.
