The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign has kicked off in Central Texas, aiming to raise $125,000 for local families this holiday season.
The campaign, which started in 1891, is a symbol of
hope, compassion and generosity—supporting vital programs that serve thousands of individuals and families in need throughout the year.
Last year, the Salvation Army of Bell County raised over $95,000, and this year's goal is $125,000.
The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 in London by Methodist preacher William Booth and his wife Catherine.
