BYD is expanding its product line in Australia, introducing new segments, including a teeny electric city hatchback and large plug-in hybrid (PHEV) off-road SUVs under the Denza brand.
The 2026 BYD Sealion 8, a seven-seat SUV, will target families with two or more kids, rivaling the Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento, and Toyota Kluger.
Although pricing is not yet available, the Sealion 8 is expected to arrive in local showrooms early next year.
