Big-hitter Tim David scored 74 from 38 balls, supported by Marcus Stoinis' half-century, as Australia posted a defendable 6-186 in their game-three Twenty20 against India.
David was in top form on Sunday night in Hobart, his home ground for the Hurricanes in the Big Bash League, and hit five sixes and eight fours.
He came to the crease with Australia at 2-14 in the third over and made India pay for dropping him on 20.
David launched two sixes from the spin of Axar Patel in the seventh over, including one straight that hit the signage on top of the Ninja Stadium roof.
