Breaking Bad Creator's Legacy
Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad, hopes his new series Pluribus will introduce a new heroic character, Carol Strucka, played by Rhea Seehorn.
Walter White, also known as Heisenberg, is an iconic figure in television history, but Gilligan expressed his desire to move beyond this character.
“As much as I love Walter White and as proud as I am of Breaking Bad—and as much as I know that it’ll be the first sentence in my obituary—at a certain point, you’re like, ‘God, it’d be nice to write a hero again, someone who’s trying to do the right thing,'”
Gilligan aims to create a new legacy with Pluribus, one that goes beyond the infamous Walter White.
