Newcastle's Christmas Lights Switch On Event
The countdown to Christmas begins as Newcastle's lights switch on event is returning, hosted by Steve Furnell and Karen Oxley.
Events will take place on Grainger Street on Thursday, November 6, starting at 6pm with activities such as songs, games, and live music.

The Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Coun Henry Gallagher said: "I am delighted to be joining Steve and Karen on stage and to help start the Christmas celebrations in Newcastle."
The event is hosted by Hits Radio 90s presenters Steve and Karen for a 13th consecutive year, and is part of Newcastle City Council's festive season celebrations.
