Mike Elko Achieves Historic Feat in SEC Play
Mike Elko has become the first Texas A&M coach to achieve a notable feat in SEC play, reaching the 3-0 mark in conference play for the second year in a row.
This milestone was accomplished in just two years, with the Aggies tied with Ole Miss and Alabama atop the SEC standings after Week 7's action.
The team's success includes three straight home wins over Auburn, Mississippi State, and Florida.
According to the Aggie Athletic Department, this is the first time a TAMU head coach has accomplished this feat since the program joined the SEC in 2012.
No other Aggies coach has done this before him.
