Tennis Takes First Loss in Sweet 16

Davie tennis players Corbin Drum and Kate Chaffin reached the 7A Midwest Regional semifinals, one step from the state tournament.
The tournament, held at Guilford College, saw both players put up a good fight in defeat. According to coach Collin Ferebee,
Corbin played the one seed really, really hard (6-3, 6-4), it was a competitive match all the way through.
Chaffin also had a notable performance, going 2-1 on the day, with coach Ferebee noting
Kate rolled (in the first round).
