Helicopter Crash in Huntington Beach, California
A helicopter crashed in Huntington Beach, California, on Saturday, injuring five people.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. local time in a beach parking lot between Twin Dolphins Drive and Beach Boulevard, according to city officials.
- Two people were pulled from the helicopter wreckage
- Three others on the ground were hurt
The victims were all taken to area hospitals in unknown conditions
The city said the helicopter was associated with a "Cars and Copters" event scheduled for Sunday. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been notified.
