Charity behind New Youth Centre Reacts to Project Approval

The approval of plans for a new youth centre in Huntingdon has been welcomed by Fusion Family and Youth Projects, the charity behind the project, as a "milestone" in tackling high levels of youth need.

The charity stated that the planning approval will enable them to create a permanent base for their youth and family support work, providing welcoming spaces for young people aged 8-17 and up to 25 for those with additional needs.

"This is a transformational investment in the future of young people and families in Huntingdon North. We are incredibly grateful to our funders, partners, councillors and local community for their continued support in helping us make this vision a reality."

According to Angie Linton, Fusion family and youth projects coordinator, this project marks a significant step forward.
