Ryston Members Shine at Fen 10
Ryston Runners AC members had a successful weekend, impressing at both the Frankfurt Marathon and the Fen 10.
In Germany, Shakur Casaleiro produced a stunning performance in Frankfurt, finishing in 2:46:33, which is more than 11 minutes off his previous best.
Rob Simmonds crossed the line in 2:49:36, his second-best marathon time, placing 75th in the M40 category.
Casaleiro and Simmonds finished 510th and 638th overall, respectively, an outstanding showing on the international stage.
Ryston members also made their mark at the Fen 10, with a string of personal bests and age-group podiums.
