Dodgers’ Freddie Freeman Ends 18-Inning World Series Game 3 Thriller
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays played a tense nine innings full of momentum shifts, lead changes, thrilling heroics, and hair-raising mistakes.
Game 3 of the World Series began on Monday in Los Angeles and ended on Tuesday, with Freddie Freeman’s solo home run in the bottom of the 18th inning lifting the Dodgers to a 6-5 victory, 6 hours and 39 minutes after the game began.
In the 14th inning, a notable moment occurred when Will Smith dropped his bat, admiringly watching a deep fly ball to center field, only to see it land in the glove of Daulton Varsho, some 383 feet from home plate.
