Victorian Access Regime
VicGrid is introducing a new regime for accessing the Victorian transmission network, replacing the current "open" access regime with the Victorian Access Regime (VAR).
VicGrid is responsible for planning and developing Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and will soon oversee the Victorian transmission network, following the transfer of declared network functions from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO).
