Microsoft 365 App Update
The Microsoft 365 app on Android and iOS has undergone significant changes, transforming into a glorified Copilot with a focus on AI image generation.
Previously, the app allowed users to edit documents, view recent files, and access various Office features. However, with the recent update, the iOS app now only permits file preview and Copilot chat, while Android users can still edit documents.
Microsoft 365 app for mobile, which was one of my favourite apps, is now just a Copilot app that wants you to generate AI images, while hiding the useful Office features.

- To edit Office files on iOS, users need to download standalone apps.
The Microsoft 365 app has been rebranded multiple times, from Office to Microsoft 365, and now to Microsoft 365 Copilot, reflecting its shifting focus.
