Jon Stewart on His Future as 'The Daily Show' Host
Jon Stewart hopes to remain the host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show despite changes at parent company Paramount Skydance.
During an interview with The New Yorker's David Remnick, Stewart discussed his plans, stating:
We're working on staying. Look, the other thing to remember is it's not as clear cut as all that … They've already done things that I'm upset about.
Stewart also considered the idea of leaving, but noted that staying and fighting for his vision might be the more integrity-driven choice.
