After a lengthy break, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard returned to the stage with a debut-heavy "rave set" at Melbourne's Federation Square.
The performance was a free event, announced just five days in advance, and featured the band's experimental side. The set began with reimagined versions of "The Silver Cord" and "Kepler-22b", with Ambrose Kenny-Smith playing congas.
The band then performed a trip through "Gilgamesh" into the debut of "Set", which saw Ambrose switch to saxophone.
The event was held at Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia, following an opening set from former Altin Gün singer/keyboardist Merve.
