Teen in Critical Condition After Shooting in Robeson County
A 15-year-old is in a hospital's intensive care unit after being shot Saturday night in Robeson County, according to Maxton Police Chief Schirra Johnson.
The shooting occurred on North Brooklyn Street in the Maxton area. Chief Johnson believes the shooting may have been related to a prior incident on Cottingham Street in Maxton.
Currently, several persons of interest have been identified, but no one is in custody. The investigation, assisted by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI), is ongoing.
