Thanksgiving Day in Saskatoon
On Thanksgiving Day, which Canada is marking on Monday, various city services and facilities in Saskatoon will have altered hours or be closed.
Transit Services
Transit will operate on a holiday service schedule from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., with normal fare rates applying. Access Transit will also use holiday hours from 8 a.m.
- OnDemand service will not be available on Monday.
- The Transit Customer Service Centre will be closed for walk-ins but phone lines will be open from 9 a.m.
Closed Facilities
The following facilities will be closed:
- City Hall
- Saskatoon Public Library branches
- Remai Modern gallery
Open Facilities and Services
Despite the holiday, the following services and facilities will be available:
- Waste collection will continue as scheduled without interruption.
- Both the landfill and Material Recovery Centre will be open from 8 a.m.
- The city compost depot will operate from 9 a.m.
- The Forestry Farm Park & Zoo will be open to the public from 10 a.m.
- Pay parking will not be in effect.
