The Celtic Hero Who Can Help Scotland Qualify for the 2026 World Cup
Scotland's bid for automatic World Cup qualification continues with their next fixture, and Celtic duo Anthony Ralston and Kieran Tierney are in the squad.
Both players were selected by Steve Clarke and contributed to the excellent win against Greece. They are expected to be involved in the upcoming match against Belarus, helping Clarke's team qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
However, another Celtic icon, Kasper Schmeichel, can also play a part in Scotland's success. As Scotland face Belarus, Denmark will play Greece, and a draw in the latter match would be beneficial for Scotland.
A draw in Denmark vs Greece is ideal as it means; "IF Scotland beat Belarus & Denmark at home, then we qualify for the World Cup automatically.
