Getting a Cut for a Cause at Sault Salon

A fundraiser at Catherine's Hairstyling & Barbershop has generated more than $15,000 for Sault Ste. Marie charities.

During the "Cuts for the Cause" event, five stylists donated their earnings to help Habitat for Humanity Sault Ste. Marie & Area.

Owner Catherine O'Donnell estimates the event has raised more than $15,000 to help groups such as Kidney Foundation of Canada, Soup Kitchen Community Centre and Algoma Residential Community Hospice.

The event featured stylists like Leah Borrelli, who gave Janice Maki a haircut and style.
