Germany's first major autumn storm, "Joshua", caused disruption from the North Sea coast to the southern mountains.

Storm "Joshua" brought fierce winds and rain to many parts of Germany since Thursday evening.
- Coastal cities, such as Wilhelmshaven, experienced flooding along parts of the promenade due to high waves.
- The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) issued a storm surge warning for the North Sea coast.
- High tides were reported to be up to two and a half metres above normal in some areas.
Inland, the storm's impact was mostly limited to fallen trees and property damage, with no major catastrophes reported.
