New Jersey Teacher Loses License
Todd Lewis, a former elementary school teacher, was accused of taping a 9-year-old boy's head to a desk for nearly an hour.
Lewis, a 58-year-old Wayne resident, was arrested and charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
- He was put on leave following the complaint.
- In August, Lewis agreed to relinquish his two elementary school teaching certificates.
According to authorities, Lewis allegedly used masking tape to restrain the boy at Lenox Elementary School in Pompton Lakes.
Todd Lewis returned his teaching license after voluntarily agreeing to surrender his certificates.
