The MacArthur Highlanders are set to compete in the state volleyball tournament in Catoosa, Oklahoma, as the 8th seed.
Despite facing an uphill battle, the team is ready to face the challenge head-on. As Brianni Kimbro stated,
“Like having worked so hard... Being able to go to the state and when we were there we were just trying to focus, stretch, and really just get ready for the game.”
The Highlanders secured their spot in the tournament by defeating Coweta and Sapulpa, a moment that Gianna Roig described as
“Just a surreal moment... I felt like we worked so hard for this that just when it all came together in the end it was just like the best moment ever.”Kyanah Taylor added that it was
