Grace Wales Bonner Joins Hermès as Creative Director of Menswear
London-based designer Grace Wales Bonner, known for her eponymous menswear brand Wales Bonner, has joined Hermès as the new creative director of menswear.
Bonner, 35, is the first Black woman to serve as creative director at a major luxury fashion house, succeeding Véronique Nichanian, who held the position for 37 years.
