The initiative aims to collect and recycle old mobile phones, with an estimated 195 million units available. Deutsche Telekom also accepts other devices, including modems, routers, and TV receivers.
The company reported that its previous recycling schemes resulted in over 11 million phones being returned by the end of 2024. This new initiative is part of its efforts to build on that success.
