The MacArthur Foundation announced its new class of fellows on October 8, recognizing individuals who work across sciences, humanities, and arts and demonstrate the ability to positively impact society.
The fellowship recognizes “extraordinarily talented and creative individuals … who demonstrate the ability to impact society in significant and beneficial ways,”
According to the foundation, the fellowship consists of a $800,000 prize paid over five years.
