Bandi Chhor Divas: Call to Release Sikh Prisoners
On the occasion of Bandi Chhor Divas, Giani Raghbir Singh, Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar, greeted the Sikh community and urged the government to release Bandi Singhs who have completed their sentences.
Giani Raghbir Singh emphasized that governments should follow the path shown by the Gurus and grant freedom to Bandi Singhs. He highlighted the significance of Bandi Chhor Divas, which commemorates the day when Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji secured the release of 52 imprisoned kings from the Gwalior Fort.
