Amazon Web Services (AWS), a cloud computing platform, has suffered a global outage affecting users.
According to the AWS Health Dashboard, the company is investigating increased error rates and latencies for multiple AWS services in the US-EAST-1 region.
"We are actively engaged and working to both mitigate the issue and understand the root cause."
A later update confirmed significant error rates for requests made to the DynamoDB endpoint in the US-EAST-1 region, also affecting other AWS services.
