Lahore has once again topped the list of the world's most polluted cities, with air quality levels reaching hazardous levels.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Lahore's Air Quality Index (AQI) surged to 332, placing it in the "hazardous" category.
- Faisalabad: AQI of 325
- Sheikhupura: AQI of 311
- Dera Ghazi Khan: AQI of 239
- Gujranwala: AQI of 233
- Multan: AQI of 224
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) classifies Air Quality Index (AQI) readings as follows:
- 0-100: clean and healthy
- 101-200: moderately polluted but tolerable
