Deniz Camp, writer of Ultimates, states that the Marvel's Ultimate Universe was intended to continue, but the creative teams behind Black Panther, Spider-Man, and X-Men had planned to exit their respective books after The Maker's return in Endgame.
According to Camp, Earth-6160 was not meant to meet a quick end, but the teams behind the aforementioned titles had always intended to leave their books following the upcoming Endgame event.
