Apple's M5 Chip Benchmark Results
The first benchmark result for the M5 chip in the 14-inch MacBook Pro has been released, providing insight into its performance.
The M5 chip achieved a score of 17,862 for multi-core CPU performance, making it up to 20% faster than the M4 chip.
- The standard M5 chip outperforms the M3 Pro chip.
- The M5 chip is nearly on par with the M1 Ultra chip.
In the new iPad Pro, the M5 chip achieved a multi-core score of 15,577, due to its 9-core CPU, compared to the 10-core CPU in the 14-inch MacBook Pro.
The new 14-inch MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models are available for pre-order, with a launch date of October 22.
