The government aims to build a stronger country by empowering Canadians, protecting communities, and securing the border. To achieve this, the Prime Minister announced new measures from the upcoming Budget, including:
- Hiring more qualified officers to expand the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) presence at key ports of entry
- Strengthening enforcement against organised crime, human smuggling, immigration fraud, and terrorism
